Firstly, what exactly is a Monthly Maintenance Agreement?
A Monthly Maintenance Agreement not only saves you money in the long run, but even more importantlyalso ensures that we pick up any faults, problems or non-working items, and thereby being able to repair them regularly, because we maintain your existing systems with option to upgrade, and offer once a month, fortnightly [every 2 weeks] and weekly visits.
For example, let's say your electric fence has a fault on it, and theybreak in after 4 months…. If you had a monthly maintenance agreement on a monthly basis, we would havenoticed the problem and either repaired a small fault or at least quoted on a full repair, making you aware of the problem.
This would have given you a chance to repair, and not to eventually say ‘’I wonder how long the thing hasn’t been working for?!!!’’ after they have broken in.
The longest the fence could have been down unnoticed would have been 4 weeks, or in the case of a weekly visit, 7 days.
With a monthly maintenance agreement, we assess your site / premises, and quote various options, like how many visits per month, one monthly visit / Fortnightly (every 2 weeks) or Weekly etc.
Then we agree on which of the systems / devices you want or need covered in the agreement.
The condition & quality of the existing systems / devices directly affects the price, because a rusted or terrible original installation may cause us to have to come out often for break downs which is a total unnecessary cost to both parties.
so sometimes it does pay to re strand and upgrade the system and have a Monthly Maintance Agreement with a much reduced amount, as we do not take on a fence in a terrible state at all.
So, in other words, we come out say once a month and do a detailed inspection, test and written report on whatever items we have agreed on in the agreement.
Being a Monthly Maintenance Agreement client, we offer you a reduced call out fee, as well as reduced labour costs, a special on repair prices and even a reduced cost plus price on any new items purchased.
In addition to these advantages, you become a priority client in case of breakdowns or damages etc.
On electric fences we will even do small repairs within reason free of charge and can negotiate to keep your fence clear or growth ourselves for an extra agreed upon fee. The reason for this is that often the client says gardener will clear and cut the trees Tuesday so come back Thursday, only to find that it wasn;t done, and we need to charge a call out for nothing.
We can cover any one or combination of all your systems, for example you may have an electric fence, gate motor, alarm system, CCTV and intercom system and you only want the electric fence and gate motor covered.
We will then assess the fence and gate motor in question with you personally being there as we do it to point out problems, and then obviously the fee would be less the better condition of the fence and motor
Or, you may only want the electric fence and the camera system covered and have the cameras cleaned and re focused on each visit
Other advantages are that you can choose to up the monthly amount and get a section replaced brand new each visit, virtually keeping the item brand new, or to have a new energiser in the bank should lightning strike etc. this would include repairing or upgrading your old fence all the while reducing the monthly fees as it is improved.
On monthly maintenance agreements we also check your back up batteries and test the alarm or electric fence actually alarms as it should, including that the radio signals get through to the control room at the armed response company, and if not find out why not, like is the backup battery or radio faulty
For estate agents, or people / companies that provide us with numerous properties to cover, we are willing to negotiate a very low price on a 'package deal of every 5 properties' on all required sites and venues.
